🎬 EGO – A Short Film

I created my first short feature film during my internship at Frame & Work. As part of the project, I was given the opportunity to conceptualize and produce my own movie. I was involved in every phase of the production and even acted in it myself. It was one of my biggest projects and, without a doubt, the one I am most proud of.

Description:
This is my first-ever short film, exploring the struggles within the creative process — particularly the difficulty of making a final decision when faced with multiple ideas.
I took on every aspect of the production myself, from concept development and scripting to filming, post-production, and performance. This project was both a personal challenge and a creative experiment, allowing me to grow in multiple disciplines of filmmaking.

Description:
As part of my multimedia studies, I created a campaign video for a class assignment. The project involved in-depth research, audience analysis, and user testing to shape both the message and creative approach.

In my free time, I passionately create videos that focus on storytelling. One of my projects featured a unique video of a barbershop, celebrating its 1-year anniversary. In this video, my main goal was to capture the essence and vibe of the entire shop. Therefore, it involved a lot of wide shots to establish the ambiance of the room.

📸 Basra B-Roll Showcase

Description:
In this project, I created a b-roll showcase of the city of Basra, focusing on capturing cinematic beauty shots and practicing visual storytelling. My goal was to improve my camera work, composition, and editing techniques.
This piece was a personal study in atmosphere, pacing, and aesthetic — with an emphasis on framing everyday scenes in a compelling way.

✂️ Barbershop Social Media Video

Description:
This was one of the first videos I ever created. The focus wasn’t just on the haircut, but on capturing the atmosphere and essence of being in a barbershop. Designed specifically for social media, the video aimed to be visually engaging highlighting both the craft of the barber and the vibe of the space.

I created a video showcasing the city of Basra in Iraq, highlighting my cinematography skills. I experimented with different angles and focused on capturing beautiful shots of the city. My goal was to practice both editing and shooting techniques while creating visually appealing scenes that truly reflected Basra’s charm
